| How soon do I need to make a Custom Drill Design Reservation? |
RETURN TO TOP |
 |
All of our designers work on a first-come, first-serve basis and fill up quite early. As we do not have a "deadline" for reservations, it is best to book before April to guarantee a spot. We do accommodate late reservations sometimes based on our work load.
| I don't know my exact instrumentation or what music we're using yet. Should I make a reservation now? |
RETURN TO TOP |
 |
Absolutely! Your reservation simply guarantees that your designer will be designing your show. Instrumentation and music can be decided at a later date, but is recommended to do so before May 1 at the latest to ensure delivery by your band camp.
| How late can I turn in my scores and instrumentation? |
RETURN TO TOP |
 |
At least 4 weeks before your deadline for the best show possible. It is optimum for us to get these materials to us by May 1. We complete shows in the order that we receive these materials and do not know exactly what date your show would be started. Thus, a 4 week lead time guarantees delivery by your deadline.

| I won't know my exact instrumentation until band camp. How do I accommodate this? |
RETURN TO TOP |
 |
We have found a few things that work well. First is to require a substantial amount of your student's marching band fees due by the end of school the previous year. You can even tell them that they are "purchasing" their spot in the drill. This investment will make it more difficult for them to "disappear" over the summer. Secondly, we have found that about 5 to 10% of students be in the show due to quitting, bad grades, discipline problems, etc. We suggest to account for this be eliminating 5 to 10% from each section and having us chart an "alternate" line in the back of the drill. This line would be a mixed instrumentation of that 5 to 10% that you choose. They would be active in the rehearsal process of learning drill and could march at football games but would not be included in competition. When a "hole" develops in the competition drill, you would put an alternate in their place.
| What if my instrumentation changes after I've given you numbers? |
RETURN TO TOP |
 |
We will call a day or two before we actually start work on your show to verify the numbers that we have. Changes at this point are not a problem.
| My instrumentation has changed and you already wrote the drill. What do I do? |
RETURN TO TOP |
 |
We accommodate rewrites after September 1. This allows us to complete our custom drill schedule and give your band's numbers time to settle. We price this per job based on the amount of time it will take to make the needed changes. If instrumentation changes are drastic, complete re-charting would be needed and would cost two-thirds of the contracted design fee.

Instructions and tips for adapting the drill are included on the CD-ROM that comes with each package.

The music featured in this series is solely by award-winning composer/arranger Key Poulan. Most of the titles are original compositions for marching band, available exclusively from Creative Solutions and Key Poulan. These shows feature regional exclusivity not only for the drill but also the music. Due to the complexity and demand for this music, Mr. Poulan charges a substantial amount for this protection.
Regional exclusivity means that within your state lines, no one within a 100 mile radius of your school will have the same drill without our consent. The show of your choice is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Band size and classification does apply. This does not apply to music sold by other dealers and publishing companies with the exception of the Platinum series.
